This is my 14^th year of teaching Special Education. I began my teaching career at Waxahachie Junior High as the Content Mastery teacher for 2 years. My family moved to Lake Tawakoni and I taught resource and content mastery for 6 years for Quinlan ISD. We moved to Cedar Hill and I taught resource and content mastery for 3 years for Cedar Hill ISD. I am happy to be returning to Waxahachie ISD as the Resource/Inclusion teacher for Shackelford Elementary.

     I have been married to Jerry Leggett for 25 years and we have 2 sons, Jacob-age 20 years and Jordan-age 7 years.
