Shackelford Elementary is one of the best things that has ever happened to me!  In November 2006, I came to Shackelford as a tutor for fourth grade students.  The faculty and staff gave me a warm welcome and I felt right at home.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a fourth grade teacher in 2007 – 2008.

I have been married to Ken Jones for 34 years.  We have two sons, Kyle (married to Jocelynn) and Clifton.  Kyle and Jocelynn live in Goose Creek, South Carolina, where Kyle is in the U. S. Navy and Jocelynn is a real estate professional.  Our younger son Clifton is a student at Texas Tech University.

Being married to a U. S. Air Force officer has given me many opportunities to travel and see the world.  We have lived in New York state, the island of Guam, and the state of California during our time in the military.  I have also traveled to England, France, Australia, Hong Kong, Okinawa, Korea, and the Philippines.  It’s great to be back in Texas, as Ken and I are both native Texans.

This is going to be a great year at Shackelford!
