v     Thank you for sending snacks for the “Reading Benchmark.”

v     Thursday, Jan. 17 – TAKS Math Simulation:  Please send 22 prepackaged individually wrapped snacks and a single bottle of water by Wednesday for our “Benchmark Snack Bags” that we will be using on Thursday.  This benchmark is to help prepare your child for the Math TAKS to be administered at the end of April.

v     Science Fair: The date for the science fair is Thursday, March 6th.  The date printed on the letter that was sent home last week was incorrect.  All 4th Graders will be expected to participate in the science fair by submitting a project; and subsequently, each student will receive several science grades related to his/her project.
