Science Fair projects are due Thursday, March 6.  You may bring them to school Thursday morning as early as 7:00 a.m.

v     Please help us prepare our Writing TAKS snack bags by sending 22 individually prepackaged snacks and one water bottle before Wednesday, March 5th.

v     If you have not already, please send your $1 for the pizza that will be served on March 14th for “March Math Madness” week.

v     If you have one, please send in a photograph of you and your child(ren) reading together.  It will not be returned as it will be used for a display here at Shackelford.

v     Thursday, March 6thShackelford 20th Anniversary/Open House/Science Fair

Please refer to the letter in the Friday folder for more information.  You must take your science project home on Thursday night as we do not have room to store it.  Any unclaimed projects will have to be thrown away.

v     Tuesday, March 25th - Parent Academy: “Building Safe and Healthy Schools”

Waxahachie Ninth Grade Academy from 6:15 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.  ALL K-12 parents are invited.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the following topics:  suicide, bullying and teasing, gang signs, drug abuse and sexual abstinence.

v     May 8th: WHS Student Showcase at the Waxahachie Civic Center, 6:00-8:30 p.m. (come and go)

v     We are running low on a few supplies.  Please send: a box of tissues, a package of notebook paper, and a package of pencils.  Thank you to those who have already sent supplies.
